From June 7 to June 9, 2024, Insight Beyond Eyesight hosted an inspiring Shabbaton in collaboration with Kosher Camp Abilities, welcoming 40 visually impaired individuals and their families. This enriching weekend provided a unique platform for networking, skill development, and resource sharing, fostering a sense of community and empowerment. The Shabbaton featured a diverse array of activities, including adaptive sports, workshops on self-advocacy, and discussions on overcoming challenges. Participants connected with peers, shared experiences, and explored resources to enhance their independence and quality of life. The event was a celebration of resilience and community spirit.
